SOME PROJECTS

 

The main elements that distinguish understanding cooperation are:

 

1. Cooperation to self-sustainment of towns, promoting the empowerment of its habitants. We don’t accept the term cooperation to developement for we consider, in many aspects, these societies are more developed.

 

2. We belive in decolonization of cooperation with south hemisphere societies. We always collaborate with local organizations, analyzing the needs they detect and trying not to impose our western mindset. Based on our possibilities and establishing priorities we determine together (Hola Ghana and local NGOs) the best way to cover those needs; always coordinating the projects horizontally with local directors, so at the end they can appropiate the project. We try to be consequent with social reality, where most of the projects fail for mistakes in the analysis at the begining such as lack of time and fewer dedication to the process itself.
